At COREF Engineering the concept of warehouse has changed; from simple material depot to strategic stock management function, divided into two types:

Functional stock
permanent refractory material and accessories depot for emergency interventions and work continuity, in any planned or supplementary maintenance; the size and quality of this stock type will be defined according to the following:

• manufacturing times
• expiry dates of perishable materials
• consumer spending
• performance of used products

Strategic stock
this stock allows the client to be flexible in planning maintenance and involves ad hoc manufactured products for a specific plant. COREF Engineering specialises in the logistics management and in the flow monitoring of such materials from the manufacturing point to the stock point and subsequent installation.
